Hello! So happy you’re here!

I am a native Pacific Northwest girl who loves everything about this neck of the woods. Our family moved from my hometown of Spokane, WA, to Portland, OR when I was four years old. From the mountains to the coast and all the spaces in between, this part of our country brings me so much joy. 

I attended St. Mary’s Academy for high school, where my English teachers pushed me to write and write and write. It turns out, I loved it. I then attended the University of Oregon Clark Honors College for a degree in English. So...even more writing!

While in college, I also started teaching in my mom’s Christian Montessori school, finding yet another calling that I loved. I still teach during the school year, along with planning, writing, and editing content for clients. Some days I can’t believe that I get to pursue both of these passions each day. Such a blessing!

Life is good in Portland with my husband, Jason, our four kids, and our rescue pooch. We love road trips, beach days, and vacations in the high desert of Central Oregon, where we plan to retire someday. 

If I’m not wiping little noses in the classroom or writing for incredible entrepreneurs, I’m reading and drinking coffee. Like, a lot of coffee. All day long. I also love completing home improvement projects, mostly in a mediocre fashion, and sharing my fabulous wit with my teenage children who roll their eyes so hard I think I can hear it happen.
